Dore back garden: Brambling - 9 - 5f 4m most this year ; Lesser Redpoll - 1 - at feeders ; Reed Bunting - 1 - m, seldom here suggests hungry bird

Fulwood garden: Brambling - 2 - m and f at feeders ; Reed Bunting - 1 - female at feeders after yesterday's male

Hammond*s Field: 319 - 2 - low over; different to birds seen over Redmires top res (still distantly visible) ; Snipe - 1 - drumming

Holmebrook Valley Park: Mute Swan - 3 - Pair now on nest and are being aggressive towards last years cygnet. ; Greylag Goose - 3 - On lake ; Canada Goose - 2 ; Coot - 10+ - At least 3 possibly 4 nests round site. ; Moorhen - 10+ - Only 1 nest found so far.

Kimberworth: Blackcap - 2 - 2 male blackcaps in the ivy at the bottom of the garden. First males seen in the garden this year. Female observed over the winter now seems to have disappeared.
