• Porter Clough: Whitethroat - 1 - Just beyond road up stream from Forge Dam
• R Derwent, Froggatt: Mallard - 2+ - females with 2 and 4 small chicks respectively, 100 and 200 m downstream from Froggatt Bridge ; Mandarin - 1+ - female with 9 fresh chicks 300m downstream from Froggatt Bridge ; Canada Goose - 2+ - pair with 5 chicks on garden pond by river ; Coot - 2+ - pair with 2 fresh chicks on garden pond by river ; Mallard - 1+ - female with 2 half-grown chicks on marsh by river ; Coot - 2 - pair on nest on pond above Calver Mill bridge ; Coot - 2 - pair on river ; Moorhen - 6 - 3 pairs on river; no chicks evident
