  • Crookes Valley Park: Coot - 4+ - Two pairs, with three well-grown imms and a fresh chick respectively ; Mallard - 12+ - Including female with 5 small chicks
  • Keppels Field: 319 - 1 - low over Scholes Coppice and field occasional calls ; Whitethroat - 1 - singing ; Swift - 1
  • R Don, Rotherham Centre: Mallard - 1+ - Female drawing mink away from 7 well-grown chicks by Main Street bridge and then flying back to them ; Sand Martin - 6 - Including two entering pipe in canal wall behind railway station
  • R Don, Rotherham Centre; adjacent interchange: Grey Wagtail - 1 - singing ; Greenfinch - 1 - singing
