Upper Ewden: Brambling - 100+ - flew to roost in scrub by Well Springs ; Pink-footed Goose - 18 - NW at 11:40 ; Pink-footed Goose - 23 - NNW at 13:30

Arbourthorne: Moorhen - 6 - on pond at 10:00. ; Starling - 36 - In trees by pond. ; Black-headed Gull - 22 - on pond +adj playing fields.

Bolsover: Waxwing - 2 - Still present this morning moving between trees behind Merlin/Kingfisher close and on Woodhouse Lane near junctiin

Broomhead/Reservoir: Mallard - 50plus - a fairly large concentration for this res. ; 321 - 1 ; Sparrowhawk - 1 - circling above neck end of res. ; Blackbird - 4 ; Goosander - 13 - 10 drakes and 3 ducks ; Woodpigeon - 12 ; Pheasant - 2

Broomhead/Rushy Wood: Siskin - 3 - flew in and started feeding in conifers ; Treecreeper - 1 ; Nuthatch - 4 - feeding on peanuts and mixed corn ; Great Spotted Woodpecker - 1 - flew onto fat rubbed onto tree trunk ; Coal Tit - Dec-15 ; Great Tit - 5 ; Robin - 4 ; Blue Tit - 7 ; Chaffinch - 1 ; Blackbird - 5

Kimberworth: Goldcrest - 1 - Briefly in garden. ; Goldfinch - 30 - flock feeding across 3 Alder trees at the bottom of garden.

Orgreave Lakes: Pochard - 18 ; Goosander - 32 ; Kingfisher - 2 ; Shelduck - 2 ; Yellow-legged Gull - 2 - 1 adult and one 3rd year ; Herring Gull - 121+ - Max on water But lots of comming and going involving up 400 birds. ; Great Black-backed Gull - 97+ - 97 max on water prob total more like 300 birds ; Lesser Black-backed Gull - 18 ; Black-headed Gull - C800 - C800 on the water at dark

Rother Valley CP: Smew - 3 - all 3 still present in same positions as yesterday ; Little Egret - 1 - Intermediate lake

Sheffield Centre: Blue Tit - 4 - flock Fargate/Pinstone Street with one choosing to give a brief burst of song from the fully lit Council Christmas tree outside the town hall.
