Meersbrook Allotments: Goldfinch - c.50 - Largest flock seen on plot in 5 years.

Norwood Allotments: Bullfinch - 5 ; Ring-necked Parakeet - 6 ; Brambling - 24 - one this morning and 24 briefly in treetops at 14:30 ; Whooper Swan - 11 - west at 13:53. The first from here this winter

Orgreave Lakes: Kingfisher - 2 - 2 sat by the edge of main lake first light ; Goosander - 25 - 14 males and 11 females on main lake at first light but most left shortly after. ; Golden Plover - 1 - on SE shore ; Whooper Swan - 13 - 7 on lakes at dawn which went off East with Mute swans at 08.15 + 6 north at 09.15 ; Shelduck - 1 ; Shelduck - 1 ; Grey Partridge - 2 ; Whooper Swan - 6 - Flew north
