Hathersage Moor: Barn Owl - 1

Heeley: Waxwing - 11 - Briefly feeding on berries on a tree in Lidl car park and then in trees around the Virgin Gym.

Heeley City Farm: 319 - 1 - came over from the west very low, circled calling and drifted off south.

Norfolk Park: Tawny Owl - 2 - Male and female calling and mating

R Don, Stevenson Rd: Goosander - 5 - redheads, 3f & 2 1w m

Ravenfield Church: Tawny Owl - 1 - at dusk then flew into woodland.

Rivelin Res: Cormorant - 1 ; Black-headed Gull - 20+ ; Goosander - 2 - a pair ; Nuthatch - 1 ; Blue Tit - 6+ ; Long-tailed Tit - 10+ ; Treecreeper - 1 ; Woodpigeon - 3+ ; Crossbill - c5 - flew over ; Blackbird - 2+

Rotherham; Northfield/Thornhill: Larus sp - 0 - no gulls whatsoever on rooftops or around recycling centre this morning (or yesterday)!

City Road Cemetery: Brambling - 10+ - 10-12 birds in west corner at 12:35. ; Redwing - 50+ - With Brambling. ; Goldfinch - 20+ ; Chaffinch - 2 ; Jay - 1
