Meersbrook Park: Redwing - c6 ; Nuthatch - 1 - heard

Millhouses: Brambling - 1 - male in Pingle Avenue garden

Millhouses garden: Chaffinch - 7 - 2f, 5m becoming regular visitors ; Blackcap - 1m - male for fourth consecutive day

Norwood Allotments: Brambling - c25 - flock appeared around 16:00, fed in treetops for about 10 minutes and then moved on.

Orgreave Lakes: Oystercatcher - 4 - By the main lake early morning. ; Curlew - 2 - In from south onto small lake island at 0745. ; Goldeneye - 7 - 4f & 3m on main lake

Owlthorpe: Sparrowhawk - 1 - Scared all other bird away except a Wood Pigeon ten meters away on a bird table.

Ellesmere Green: Waxwing - 12 - 9am ; Waxwing - 32 - none present at 11:50, then 32 flew in from the direction of Hillsborough at 11:55 but departed shortly afterwards when disturbed by traffic/pigeons, hadn't returned by 12:05. Plenty of berries left on the tree but birds reluctant to feed.
