Much calling and chasing between two pairs; fifth bird away from these. ; Curlew - 2 ; Golden Plover - 2 - one already in breeding plumage ; Curlew - 11 - coming into roost an hour-and-a-half before dusk ; Oystercatcher - 4 ; Lapwing - 80+ ; Linnet - c. 10 ; Grey Wagtail - 1 - same bird as at conduit ; Mallard - 13+ ; Lapwing - c5 - in rushy area on "shore" ; Oystercatcher - 2

Roe Woods: Ring-necked Parakeet - 3+ - calling between Crabtree Pond and Norwood Road, but calls from a widespread area ; Jay - 5 - In woods south of Norwood Road a squabbling group of 5 birds
