  • Bassingthorpe Farm: Pied Wagtail - 1 ; Whitethroat - 1 - singing ; Goldfinch - 4+
  • Bassingthorpe Lane: Yellowhammer - 1 - Male carrying nest material.
  • Bassingthorpe Spring: Wren - 2 - singing ; Blackbird - 1 - singing ; Song Thrush - 2 - singing ; Robin - 1+ - singing ; Whitethroat - 1 - singing ; Blackcap - 1 - singing ; Chaffinch - 1 - singing
  • Blacka Moor: Wood Warbler - 1 - 1singing 500 yards below Devil’s Elbow ; Blackcap - 5 - 2m 3f ; Pied Flycatcher - 2 - 1 pair at bottom of Piper House Gate path. First sighting in the area by observer for several years.

  • Sheaf Bank Retail Park: Sand Martin - 8+ - at least one pair regulary visiting a nest hole and another excevating/ investigating another hole in the mortar of the high wall above the Sheaf Bank Business Park between the River Sheaf and Prospect Road.
