Crookes: Raven - 2 - Pair over high, barrel rolling and calling. Joined by third bird briefly. ; 319 - 5 - together low over observers garden heading south along Rivelin Valley ; Swift - 1 - high heading East.

Ewden Height: Kestrel - 2 ; Lesser Black-backed Gull - 7 - 1+1+5 SE ; 319 - 2 ; Meadow Pipit - 80+ - 12 south, rest moving/feeding locally ; Swallow - 150+ - 2-3 large groups feeding high up across area (Midhopestones, Ewden, Bolsterstone etc). At least 2 south but high up. ; Swift - 1+ - With Swallow group ; House Martin - 70+ ; Tree Pipit - 1+ - Heard moving south ; Greylag Goose - c40 - over Green Moor heading east then u-turned and landed in field.

Graves Park: Ring-necked Parakeet - 1 - heard

Hope: Spotted Flycatcher - 4 - In treetops near eccles lane

Langsett Res: Greylag Goose - 6+ - on reservoir ; Little Grebe - 1 ; Goldcrest - c2 - in thickwoods plantation ; Coal Tit - 1 ; Blue Tit - 1 ; Robin - 1 ; Woodpigeon - 1 ; Pied Wagtail - 5+ - at least 2 juveniles plus adults feeding on stones of dam

Mickleden Edge: House Martin - c5 ; Raven - 2 - Flying over Bradshaw area E of viewing point ; 319 - 2 - Feeding in fields on, perhaps, dead rabbit with several corvids waiting for a chance to feed ; Kestrel - 1 - flying over ; Swallow - c5 - flying over ; Meadow Pipit - 2+

Midhope Moor: 319 - 3 ; Raven - 6 - tumbling about and flying together ; Red Grouse - 1 ; Kestrel - 1 ; Wren - 1

Northern General Hospital: Ring-necked Parakeet - 3 - flew into trees at barnsley road entrance at dusk.
