Wharncliffe Chase: Meadow Pipit - 35 - South in small groups - 8.20-9.00 ; Stock Dove - 10 - Group in fields ; Snipe - 5 - NW 8.30am ; Swallow - 55 - 1's and 2's south before a single group of 40+ slowly went through feeding with Martins. ; Raven - 1 - Seen circling low over fields then appeared to land. ; Lapwing - 4 - North ; Yellowhammer - 1 ; Shelduck - 4 - large duck sp, possibly this species, high north at 8.58am ; House Martin - 20+ - South ; 319 - 1

Low Common: Stonechat - 1 - Male flycatching from thistle within Phacelia/Cornflower mix.

Morley Pond: Great Crested Grebe - 3 ; Mallard - 5+ ; Grey Wagtail - 1

Norfolk Heritage Park: Common Buzzard - 1 - 1 flushed by C Crows presumably roosted overnight

Parkwood Springs: Chiffchaff - 8+ - several singing ; Willow Warbler - 1 - giving subsong ; Blackcap - 4 ; Swallow - 1 ; Meadow Pipit - 1 ; Bullfinch - 4 - 2 juvs

R Don, Effingham St: Greylag Goose - 1 - on weir, can't remember seeing them here before.

Redmires Res: Little Egret - 1 - Looked to drop on bottom res in evening, then left S over Roper Hill at dusk.
