  • Treeton Dyke: Blackcap - 1 - male singing
  • Upper Common, Scholes: Long-tailed Tit - 2 - pos pair active near gorse behind Remount Cottages.
  • Wadsley Common: Chiffchaff - 1 - Singing. First of the year here.
  • Wentworth Park: Nuthatch - 1 - singing from wood adjacent to Deer shed also 2 Buzzards together just E of this wood. ; Little Owl - 1+ - calls, E of Roman Ridge.
  • West Nab: Reed Bunting - 1 - male singing. ; Red Kite - 1 - in field mobbed by carrion crow
  • Wharncliffe Chase: Wheatear - 25 - Influx overnight ; Kestrel - 1 ; 319 - 4 ; Meadow Pipit - c150 - 2 large groups (c50 + c80) plus residents singing ; Redwing - 1+ ; Curlew - 1 calling ; Linnet - 2 ; Skylark - c25 - Numerous singing ; Stock Dove - 6 ; Fieldfare - c40 ; Lapwing - 4 ; Lapwing - 4
