Attercliffe: Pintail - 3 - fem/eclipse males high W over Bernard Road, drifting in and out of cloud base. ; Peregrine - 2 - juv low over Warren Street and Hyde Park Flats, chasing Carrion Crows. Red colour ring obvious, no doubt one of the St George's young. Adult on incinerator building ; Chiffchaff - 1 - Bernard Rd

Fulwood: House Martin - 1 - over observer's garden, apparently still attending colony on nearby Moorside ; Chiffchaff - 1 - singing in the rain in observer's garden this morning

Hallowes Golf Course: Jay - 3 ; Great Spotted Woodpecker - 2 ; Chiffchaff - 1 - calling ar south end

Middleton Moor: Lesser Black-backed Gull - 180 ; Black-headed Gull - 45 ; 320 - 19 ; Tufted Duck - 9 ; Wigeon - 1 ; Goosander - 1 ; Peregrine - 1 - Immature circled,low over lagoon before heading west

Redmires Res: Tufted Duck - 8 - on Top Res ; Lesser Black-backed Gull - 40 - c. roosted ; Black-headed Gull - 230 - c. roosted

Walkley garden: Chiffchaff - 1 - Daily visits with roving mixed tits. Singing on 22nd.

Burbage Valley: Ring Ouzel - 5 - 1 Burbage Rocks, 4 Fiddlers Elbow, flew to Higger Tor. ; Peregrine - 17:00 - ad fem flew down valley, full crop obvious.

Dronfield: Sparrowhawk - 1 - Flew through garden behind Greendale

Ecclesfield: Sparrowhawk - 1 - Female flew into silver birch tree on junction with High Street,11.54

Keppels Field: Great Spotted Woodpecker - 1 - Calling from scrub then W toward Grange golf course. ; Skylark - 1 ; Jay - 1+ ; Magpie - 1+ ; Goldfinch - 20+ - flitting from trees in scrub
