  • Thrybergh CP: Water Rail - 1 ; Pink-footed Goose - 1 - in with Greylag Geese ; 319 - 1 ; Linnet - C50 ; Lesser Redpoll - 22 ; Goldfinch - C50 - The mixed flock has broken up this morning with most birds feeding on silver birch in caravan park ; Goosander - 2 - Males, flying in from Doncaster direction into Thrybergh Lane end, about 10:30 am.

  • Carr Vale: Water Rail - 2 - calling ; Willow Tit - 1 - calling
  • Carr Vale Nature Reserve: Brent Goose - 2 - flushed with Pink-feet by a helicopter and flew in to SBSG airspace before returning to field on the recording area border. Adult and 1st. winter Dark-bellied.

  • Centenary Riverside: Song Thrush - 3 - inc 2 singing ; Moorhen - 3 - inc one on river ; Mallard - 14 ; Goldfinch - 17 - flock ; 320 - 15-20 - lots of noisy display ; Cormorant - 7 - 5 W; 1 S, then W; 1 S, then NE ; Kingfisher - 1 - on river ; Herring Gull - 9 - NW/N/NE ; Long-tailed Tit - 5+ ; Little Grebe - 1 - on river ; Great Black-backed Gull - 1 - N ; Chiffchaff - 1 - by river, calling frequently
