  • Derwent Dam: Peregrine - 1 - roosting on the west face of the East Tower
  • Duckmanton: Black Redstart - 1 - per DOS - in horse paddock off Longcourse Lane late morning
  • Endcliffe Park: Dipper - 2 - Pair close to Hunters Bar bridge, male singing. ; Dipper - 2 - Male (left) displaying to female (record shot) ; Kingfisher - 1 - lower pond ; Grey Wagtail - 1 ; Nuthatch - 2
  • Firsby Res: Moorhen - 1 - Feeding in frozen Reed bed. ; Grey Heron - 1 - Flew from waters edge. Main Res completely frozen. ; Snipe - 1 - Flew into Reed bed near stream. ; Treecreeper - 1 - Calling in woodland. ; Redwing - 5+ ; Fieldfare - 10+ - Coming into roost.

  • Harlesthorpe Dam: Great Spotted Woodpecker - 1 - one of only 3 found by me in 38 tetrads in SK47-49 in Nov and Dec 2020 ; Lapwing - 59 - flying SW (cold weather movement)
  • Hutcliffe Wood: 324 - 2 - Foxes - 2 individuals
  • Millhouses Lane garden: Feral Pigeon - 01-Jun - almost daily visitors during the last quarter, foraging under the feeders ; Stock Dove - 01-Apr ; Woodpigeon - 01-Apr ; Collared Dove - 01-Feb - occasional visitors to the front garden during the last quarter, but generally heard most mornings. Rarely visit the bird feeders ; Great Spotted Woodpecker - 2 - a pair, daily visitors to the suet ball feeder during the quarter ; Magpie - 01-Feb - always about, but not long stayers, during the last quarter ; Coal Tit - 1 - regular visitor to the feeders during the last quarter ; Blue Tit - 01-Apr - regular visitors to the feeders during the last quarter ; Great Tit - 01-Feb - regular visitors to the bird feeders during the last quarter ; Long-tailed Tit - 02-Jun - once or twice a day visitors to the bird feeders, particularly the suet balls, during the last quarter ; Nuthatch - 01-Feb - regular visitors to the bird feeders during the last quarter ; Blackbird - 01-Apr - feeding under the bird feeders regularly during the last quarter ; Robin - 01-Feb - a regular visitor to the bird feeders during the last quarter and generally seeing off an interloper from a neighbouring garden ; Dunnock - 1 - sole bird, a regularly visitor to the garden during the last quarter, the families present during the summer seemingly gone elsewhere ; Chaffinch - 01-Apr - occasional visitors to the garden during the last quarter ; Bullfinch - 06-Aug - daily visitors to the bird feeders during the last quarter ; Greenfinch - 01-May - equal numbers of males/females visiting the bird feeders during the last quarter ; Goldfinch - Jan-14 - 14 being the max. count during the quarter of these daily visitors to the bird feeders during the last quarter
