Kimberworth: Song Thrush - 1 - Occasional visitor to the garden. ; Greenfinch - 2 - a pair ; Goldfinch - 1 - with 'grey' plumage - flies in regularly with about 7 or 8 others since last summer.

Ladybower Res, North arm: Curlew - 10 - 10 individuals in a group in amongst a feeding flock of Canada Geese on pasture behind reservoir fence

Mayfield Valley: LONG-TAILED SKUA - 1 - Stunning summer plumaged adult in Mayfield Valley, Greenhouse Lane/Clough Lane/Harrop Lane corner. Was seen 'down' in field, and last seen heading down the valley at 17:00.

Norfolk Heritage Park: Chaffinch - 3 - 2 f 1 m taking bird seed. First time I've seen Chaffinches in the park this year.

Old Ravenfield: Greenfinch - 2 ; Chaffinch - 1 - Male. ; Goldfinch - 2 - All bathing together in puddle at bottom of St James view. ; Skylark - 5+ - Displaying over field ; Kestrel - 1 - Male hunting next to road at entrance to village.

Old Ravenfield Pringle Lane Tip: Lapwing - 7 - Display flights and calls over fields between Pringle Lane Tip and Old Ravenfield. ; Meadow Pipit - 10+ - Flushed from farmland. ; Sparrowhawk - 1 - Male scattering small birds as it hunted through undergrowth along Tip perimeter.
