Wharncliffe Heath NR: Woodcock - 2 - roding ; Common Buzzard - 1 ; Song Thrush - 2

Abney Moor: Wheatear - 3 - group of 3 males together

Agden Res: Mandarin - 1 - Male ( along with hordes of human swimmers)

Agden Rocher: Chiffchaff - 3 - Several calling on path up to rocks from reservoit ; Wheatear - 5 - in fields to the north west of the cliffs

Brightholmlee: Barn Owl - 1 - perched on post late afternoon

Brincliffe Edge Wood: Chiffchaff - 1 - First singing of the year for me also one singing on The Archers

Brinsworth: Blackcap - 1 - Singing off Grange Lane, golf course 07.45

Burbage Rocks: Ring Ouzel - 1+ - 4 birds flew in together at 07:45. One male remained on rocks long enough to see collar in scope

Malin Bridge: 319 - 3 - Wheeling overhead ; Greenfinch - 4 - flew over garden. My first record in this tetrad this year! ; 319 - 5 - 2 pairs plus 1 inc 3 displaying, came from 3 directions suggesting 3 pairs in this suburban area
