Rawmarsh Cemetery: Sparrowhawk - 1 - soaring over before dropping vertically into canopy @ 1405hrs

Wharncliffe Heath NR: Pied Flycatcher - 7+ - 3 pairs near nest boxes and an apparently unpared male, All males singing on occasion ; Spotted Flycatcher - 1 - singing ; Tree Pipit - 2 ; Blackcap - 6 - singing ; Crossbill - 1 - flew over calling

White Path Moss: Snipe - 1 ; Curlew - 6 - up to 6 including 4 together

Millhouses: Sparrowhawk - 1 - Male caught House Sparrow at feeder with such force that the feeder was smashed beyond repair. Then proceeded to eat the sparrow on the lawn .

Porter Brook, Hunters Bar: Grey Wagtail - 2 - Carrying food into nest hole in wall.

Rawmarsh; Rockcliffe Road: House Sparrow - 1pr - picking aphids from climbing rose. Rare garden visitor in these parts.
