Silverwood Lagoon: Peregrine - 1 - over The Close and adjacent stubble field at 09.35, flushing feeding Feral Pigeons and upsetting the local crows

Upper Ewden: WHITE-TAILED EAGLE - 1 - One short filght, then sat on moor for 3 hours still there 19:20. Mobbed late on by imm Marsh Harrier, and had a standoff with 2 sheep. ; Marsh Harrier - 1+ - imm in evening Flint Hill - Upper Commons, mobbing Eagle at 19:15. Second bird briefly, looked like a (3cy+) male

Walker Edge//Broomhead: Linnet - 12 - flock by farm ; Swallow - 4 - flying over field with sheep in insect catching ; Goldfinch - 5 - with linnets ; Kestrel - 1 ; Lesser Black-backed Gull - 3 ; Wheatear - 1 - female on field wall by crossroads ; Carrion Crow - 4

Aldwarke; Liberty Steel: Peregrine - 1 - adult on roof for 20mins before leaving to SE

Norwood Allotments: Black-headed Gull - c70 - hawking for flying ants which were out today ; Starling - c40 - hawking for flying ants ; Swift - c10 - flying very high and made difficult to count mingled with around 20 probable house martins also very high. ; 319 - 4 - presumably family group overhead very vocal

Orgreave Lakes: Cormorant - 6 - 6 birds on island drying off. ; Grey Wagtail - 4 - 4 birds feeding on river just below the weir. ; Dunlin - 1 ; Yellow Wagtail - 11 ; Common Gull - 1 - Ad
