  • Bingham Park: Dipper - 1 ; Grey Wagtail - 2 ; Grey Heron - 1 - in stream late afternoon
  • Endcliffe Park: Black-headed Gull - 20+ ; Kingfisher - 1 - Upper pond ; Grey Wagtail - 1 ; Kingfisher - 1 - caught a fish late afternoon on top pond ; Mandarin - 14 - mostly perched on dead tree late afternoon
  • Fulwood garden: Brambling - 11 - best count of the winter to date
  • Greystones garden: Blackcap - 2 - Males, seen together in observer's garden
  • Parkgate; *Banana* plantation: Song Thrush - 1 ; Greenfinch - 3+ - feeding on rose hips ; Long-tailed Tit - 7+ ; Great Tit - 09-Oct - together in lengthy interaction; lots of noisy chasing/calling & some song

  • Rawmarsh; Barber*s Avenue: Black-headed Gull - 18 - feeding on playing field
  • Roundwood Golf course: Siskin - 10+ - very noisy with lots of singing in sunshine ; Long-tailed Tit - 9+ ; Lesser Redpoll - 12+ - associating loosely with Siskins, inc some fine males ; Bullfinch - 3 - 1m & 2f, eating Blackthorn buds
