Rotherham Centre; Market Place: Mute Swan - 1 - colour-ringed bird (400 yellow) literally dropped out of sky onto road, narrowly missing pedestrian & obstructing traffic. Taken into care.

Whirlow: Common Buzzard - 3 - One bird flew in from E, joined by 2 more at altitude circling Millhouses Park/Beauchief area. ; Peregrine - 2 - Seen same time as buzzards, chasing above Dore area and flying S at speed. A brief raptor-fest!
