Woodthorpe, Sheffield: Hobby - 1 - 1 hung around for 5 mins or so, appeared to have prey.

Crookes Valley Park: Coot - 4+ - 2 pairs, one with 2 fresh chicks and one with a half-grown chick, being fed on strawberry ; Moorhen - 1 - being chased by Coot ; Grey Heron - 1 - sat on island where Coot nested; perhaps why only one chick left from that pair ; Treecreeper - 1 - singing from woodland ; Great Spotted Woodpecker - 1+ - adult attending chicks at nest hole in woodland
