• Beauchief: Willow Warbler - 2 - In large tit flock passing through gardens
• Beeley Wood: Tawny Owl - 1 - calling near Rocher Bridge
• Blackburn Meadows: Swift - 2 - flew over
• Botanical Gardens: Swift - 14 - Party moving slowly S at 17:30
• Castle Dyke Playing Fields: 319 - 04-May - Soaring, calling, drifting SW ; Wheatear - 1
• Dalton: Canada Goose - 17 - feeding in stubbles
• Endcliffe Park: Kingfisher - 1 - Fishing on lower pond at 11:30
• Ewden Bridge: Curlew - 4 - fields above (south of) Ewden Bridge
• Garlic House Farm (Ewden): Yellow Wagtail - 2 - feeding with Pied Wagtails. Both probably adults. ; Pied Wagtail - 2+ - including male feeding fledged juvenile ; House Sparrow - c.25

• Rawmarsh:Haugh Rd: Yellow-legged Gull - 1 - adult briefly on playing field @ 15.32. Disturb by motorbikes and flew low to N @ 15.37 ; Swift - 27 - SW in 3 hrs (13.30-16.30)
• Roundwood Golf course: Chiffchaff - 2 ; Swallow - 2 - SW ; Jay - 1 ; Goldfinch - c15 ; Mistle Thrush - 13 ; Sparrowhawk - 1 - f/juv hunting over, narrowly missed PW; left SW
• Silverwood Lagoon: Raven - 1 - flew NE at 08.15 - probably same bird as a couple of days ago
• Silverwood Pit Top; W edge: Common Buzzard - 3 - soaring over & drifted off S @ 0850hrs
• Thrybergh CP: Great Crested Grebe - 7 ; Little Grebe - 1 - jv ; Cormorant - 10 - inc.4past w ; Mute Swan - 42 ; Canada Goose - 101 - +inc 25+s15+w ; Tufted Duck - 66 ; 319 - 5 - 4in e1in w all soar.
