Attercliffe: Peregrine - 2 - ad and juv on Bernard Road incinerator building (legs not visible)

Firsby Res: Mallard - 5 ; Grey Heron - 1 ; 319 - 1 ; Kingfisher - 1 - Flew from stream near road. ; Jay - 1 - Calling from Willows. ; Bullfinch - 15+ ; Goldfinch - 40+ - Large flock feeding on seed heads on dam wall. ; Chaffinch - 1 - Male.

Hangingwater garden: House Martin - 4 ; Swallow - 8 - over S with House Martins

Middleton Moor: Yellow-legged Gull - 2 - Adults ; Lesser Black-backed Gull - 160 ; Black-headed Gull - 9 ; Mallard - 4 ; Ringed Plover - 1 ; Cormorant - 1 - Immature arrived 15.55.Dived twice ( unsuccessfully!) and left NNE at 16.00.
