Botanical Gardens: Pink-footed Goose - 50+ - Seen in the far distance from the Gardens, prob over Ringinglow, flying W. Prob same birds as Hurlfield report.

Canklow Woods: Song Thrush - 1 - 1 south ; Lesser Redpoll - 3 - 3 south ; Skylark - 8 - 8 east at 1130 ; Brambling - 1 - 1 heard west at 1140

Holmebrook Valley Park: Whooper Swan - 3 - On main lake for 10min before being chased of by resident Mute swans. Flew south.

Hurlfield: Pink-footed Goose - 70 - 70+over WNW at 18:30 calling constantly.

Parkgate; *Banana* plantation: Goldcrest - 2+ ; Kestrel - 1 - male briefly, before returning to regular Minteq perch ; Mistle Thrush - 1 - NW ; Lesser Black-backed Gull - 4 - W ; Song Thrush - 4 - 1 E; 1 SW; 1 down; 1 dropped in ; Greenfinch - 2 - W ; Redwing - 106 - 105 W & 1 NE between 0740-0910hrs, in parties 27 ; Pied Wagtail - 7 - 'alba' wagtails, all SW ; Reed Bunting - 1 - SW, then S ; Chiffchaff - 1 ; Meadow Pipit - 1 - S ; Siskin - 1 - E ; Lesser Redpoll - 8 - 7 SW; 1 N ; Skylark - 9 - all moving W, very high ; Whooper Swan - 2 - E @ 0854hrs, presumably same returning W/SW @ 1000hrs (same as TCP birds) ; Grey Heron - 1 - NW ; Herring Gull - 4 - SW ; Dunnock - 8+ - inc party of 8 together, wing-flicking & calling excitedly ; Blackbird - Oct-15
