  • Bowden Housteads Wood: Sparrowhawk - 2 ; Nuthatch - 7 ; Jay - 9 ; Mallard - 2 - Females on pond.
  • Firsby Res: Moorhen - 2 ; Water Rail - 1 - Calling from small pond reed bed for approx 10 mins then seen briefly twice. ; Mallard - 15+ ; 320 - 9 ; Grey Heron - 1 ; Tawny Owl - 3 - Resident bird calling Pre dawn answered by two others in distance. ; 319 - 1 - On telegraph pole. ; Sparrowhawk - 1 - Through sheep paddock.
