Great Hucklow: Fieldfare - 50+ - Feeding in pasture ; Pink-footed Goose - 240 - Flying east

Howden Res: PARROT CROSSBILL - 12+ - Almost certainly 14 Parrot Crossbills. Showing well on/off at usual drinking puddle and feeding in surrounding trees. 11:30 Parrots together as a separate group, at 13:30 feeding in larger mixed flock alongside Commons. 40+ Commons around.

Owlerton: Collared Dove - 1 - bird sat brooding on extremely exposed nest in scantly vegetated roadside shrub. Freshly hatched egg shell on ground under nest.
