Hillsborough Park: 324 - 1 - Canada x Barnacle returned (along with the Greylag Goose) after an apparent absence of several weeks ; 322 - 1 - Muscovy Duck ; Tufted Duck - 5 - 4 males, 1 female ; Black-headed Gull - 10 ; Mistle Thrush - 1 ; Swallow - 4 ; Canada Goose - 23 - less than half the winter average now present

Howden Res: Goosander - 2 - Male & female

Kimberworth: Wren - 1 - Sat singing on top of the washing line post.

Malin Bridge: Lesser Redpoll - 2 - On garden nyger feeder. First here for many years.

Meadowhall: Skylark - 1 - Singing above Next Home car park.

Moscar: Moorhen - 1 - In a large puddle in field side of the A57

Norton Lees: House Sparrow - 10 - In back garden. First seen in over 6yrs.

Orgreave Lakes: Little Ringed Plover - 1 - on island ; Common Sandpiper - 1 - on small lake ; Common Tern - 1 - feeding on large lake, disappeared at 10.40. ; Swallow - c30 ; Sand Martin - c10

Tyzack*s Dam: Goosander - 16 - Including the individual with beak entwined with plastic. Upper mandible now seems to be free but bird repeatedly making attempts to dislodge the rest.

Kimberworth: Wren - 1 - Flew out of roosting pouch attached to house wall. Obviously been dodging the rain.

Meersbrook Park: Great Spotted Woodpecker - 1

Orgreave Lakes: Little Ringed Plover - 3 ; Ring Ouzel - 1 - Still on west side.

Oughtibridge garden: Blackcap - 1 - male , foraging in garden hedge

Wadsley Common garden: Brambling - 1 - Male on feeders

Agden Res: Common Sandpiper - 1 ; 320 - 3 - 1m, 2f

Bamford: Willow Warbler - 1 - Singing near Yorkshire Bridge

Malin Bridge: Grey Wagtail - 2 - Pair on rocks in shallows and also briefly perched on street light.
