  • Barlow Common: Yellow-legged Gull - 2 ; Lesser Black-backed Gull - c. 100 - all present on a field, eagerly watching the farmer at work on his tractor
  • Castle Dyke playing fields: Swallow - 80+ - Mostly perched on perimeter fence, and cross-bar of rugby goal post,
  • Kimberworth Park: Goose sp - 20+ - E@ 08:00
  • Manor Fields Park: Chiffchaff - 4 - 1 singing. ; Blackcap - 3 ; Whitethroat - 3 ; Song Thrush - 5 ; Meadow Pipit - 6 - all south over site ; Moorhen - 15 ; Mallard - 17
  • Middleton Moor: Whinchat - 1 ; Pintail - 1

  • Aldwarke; Liberty Steel: Cormorant - Oct-14 - 4 on pylon by 0723hrs, then dispersing; 10 onto pylon from SW 0917hrs
  • Blackamoor: Red Kite - 1 - From SE direct to area near Tigers Rugby Club at 10:10 ; Merlin - 1 - Female in pursuit of Skylark.
