Heeley City Farm: Cormorant - 1 - over SE at 10:20, following course of River Sheaf ; Coal Tit - 2+ - at least two visiting feeders; a relativly new species for the site ; Cormorant - 1 - flew over high heading south east. ; Coal Tit - 4 - at least 4 on feeders, until recently their have been very few sightings in this area.

Holling Dale Plantation: Goldcrest - 5 ; Brambling - 1+ - male seen , others heard calling . ; Jay - 2 ; Pink-footed Goose - c90 - heading east at 18.10 ; Fieldfare - 400+ - in surrounding fields .

Hurlfield: Common Buzzard - 12 - together overhead at 15:12.

Manor Fields Park: Reed Bunting - 1 ; Chiffchaff - 1+ - 1 poss 2 calling 16:30 ; Blackcap - 3 ; Moorhen - 13 ; Mallard - 8

Meersbrook Park Road: Tawny Owl - 1 - Calling from tree

Norwood Allotments: Woodpigeon - c1244 - Steady movement around 8:00 ; 319 - 6 - circling together around midday

Orgreave Lakes: Grey Heron - 5 - On island .

Peat Pits: Golden Plover - 20 ; Pied Wagtail - 3 ; Woodpigeon - 25 - One of many parties seen in area and over Broomhead reservoir, in total over 300 all flying south south east.
