Greystones: Great Spotted Woodpecker - 1 - Female in observer's garden ; Redwing - 1 - OG

Greystones garden: Sparrowhawk - 1 - Unsuccessful hunting attempt ; Greenfinch - 1 - Male ; Bullfinch - 1 - Male ; Song Thrush - 1

Heeley City Farm: Peregrine - 1 - over west at 10:30 ; Waxwing - 4 - flew over north at 11:15 dropping down into Lowfield Park area ; Waxwing - 10+ - several small parties seen on multiple occcasions throughout the day with, most seen at any one time was 10 at 12:00, birds moving loosely with a flock of Redwings around the local area. ; Sparrowhawk - 1 - female ; Coal Tit - 4 ; Blue Tit - 10+ ; Great Tit - 12+ ; Goldfinch - 40+ ; Chaffinch - 6 ; Bullfinch - 2 ; Great Spotted Woodpecker - 1 ; Long-tailed Tit - 18+ ; Magpie - 7 ; Carrion Crow - 4 ; Mandarin - 1 - drake flew east. ; Mallard - 3 ; Redwing - 150+ - moving around farm fields and local parks in the area. ; Blackbird - 40+ ; Siskin - 4 - over north ; Robin - 6 ; Dunnock - 5 ; Wren - 5 ; Grey Wagtail - 2 ; Mistle Thrush - 4 ; Song Thrush - 1 ; Song Thrush - 1 ; Goldcrest - 1 ; Ring-necked Parakeet - 1 - over heading east

Hurlfield: Tawny Owl - 2+ - 2 a pair calling 05:40-07:20. + 1 calling at 20:05.poss 1 of the earlier birds.

Ibbotson*s Dam: Kingfisher - 1 - may have been the same as Shepherds Wheel bird. ; Black-headed Gull - 20

Kimberworth Park: Grey Heron - 1 - W over Bray Plantation @ 12:15

Malin Bridge: Waxwing - 1 - briefly in garden this morning. Still in ash by Oakland Rd/Rippon Rd junction at 13:30 ; Waxwing - 1 - one flew over Norris rd approx 1pm.calling

Mickledon Beck: Stonechat - 1 - Perched on and flitting about a broken down dry-stone-wall with, what looked like nesting material in its bill. ; Red Grouse - 3+ - Plenty about.

Midhope Moors: Kestrel - 1 ; Raven - 2 - Pair

Shepherd Wheel: Kingfisher - 1 - Female, perched in shrubbery, flew downstream ; Grey Heron - 1 - Immature
