Middleton Moor: Curlew - 59 - roosted ; Oystercatcher - 2 ; Lapwing - 52 ; Pied Wagtail - 40+ ; Sand Martin - 6+ ; Shoveler - 1 - eclipse drake ; 320 - 4 ; Shelduck - 6 - pair still with 6 well grown ducklings. Two looked to be feeding by diving down. ; Whitethroat - 2 - taking food to nest ; Reed Warbler - 1+ - singing ; Black-headed Gull - 10 - plus one juv ; Lesser Black-backed Gull - c50 - small roost. ; Yellow-legged Gull - 1 - adult ; Greylag Goose - 7 - plus two goslings ; Canada Goose - 2 - plus 3 goslings
